Key Responsibilities:

• Train and assess learners up to Level 3 in the workplace and college.
• Support learner progress through assessment and curriculum delivery.
• Ensure timely achievement of apprenticeship frameworks and standards.
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young persons in line with college policies.
• Deliver training across multiple campuses, requiring a full driving licence and use of a car.
• Stay up to date with awarding body standards and requirements.
• Foster an inclusive learning environment that reflects equality, diversity, and inclusion principles.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Assessor qualification (TAQA/A1 or equivalent) or willingness to work towards it.
• Industry relevant qualifications to a minimum of Level 3 (City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent).
• Knowledge of awarding body standards and requirements.
• Experience of working in further education.
• Up-to-date occupational experience.
• Full current driving licence, use of a car, and insurance for business purposes.
• Enhanced DBS check.

Preferred

• Experience with teaching and assessing apprentices in electrical installation.
• Knowledge of equality, diversity, and inclusion in education and the workplace.
• Experience in delivering training across multiple sites.
