The Opportunity:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Lecturer in Motor Vehicle to deliver inspiring teaching and support learners in a rapidly evolving sector. This role offers the chance to shape the future of education in Motor Vehicle Service, Repair, and Electrical Vehicle technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver high-quality teaching on Motor Vehicle Service, Repair, and Electrical Vehicle courses.
- Support learners in achieving their full potential through engaging and innovative teaching methods.
- Maintain accurate records of learners’ progress and performance.
- Contribute to the development of teaching, learning, and assessment strategies.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes equality and diversity.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and developments to maintain the relevance of the curriculum.
- Collaborate with colleagues and industry partners to enhance the learning experience.
- Participate in staff development and training programs to continuously improve teaching practice.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Level 3 or above in a discipline related to Motor Vehicle Service and Repair.
- GCSE Grade C (4/5) in English and Maths.
- Commitment to obtaining a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience in Motor Vehicle Service or Repair.
- Up-to-date occupational experience in the sector.
- Understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusion in the learning environment.
- Enhanced DBS check.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching or delivering courses in Motor Vehicle Service, Repair, or Electrical Vehicle technology.
- Experience with PHEV, MOT Test, or Air Conditioning systems.
- Background in education or training.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of £28,997 – £43,748 per annum.
