The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Vocational Trainer to deliver impactful training to apprentices and learners in a range of technical disciplines. This role is ideal for innovative and inspiring professionals looking to make a difference in education and support the development of future industry leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train and assess learners up to Level 3 in the workplace and at the college.
- Support learner progress through assessment and curriculum delivery.
- Ensure timely achievement of apprenticeship frameworks and standards.
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young persons in line with college policies.
- Deliver training across multiple sites, requiring a full driving licence and use of a car for business purposes.
- Collaborate with industry professionals to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and up to date.
- Maintain high standards of equality, diversity, and inclusion in the learning environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Assessor qualification (TAQA/A1 or equivalent) or willingness to obtain.
- Industry-relevant qualifications to a minimum of Level 3 (City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent).
- Knowledge of awarding body standards and requirements.
- Experience working in further education.
- Up-to-date occupational experience.
- Full current driving licence and use of a car for business purposes.
Preferred
- Experience with apprenticeship frameworks and standards.
- Understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusion in education.
- Experience in delivering training in a variety of settings.
