The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Vocational Trainer to deliver impactful training to apprentices and learners in a range of technical disciplines. This role is ideal for innovative and inspiring professionals looking to make a difference in education and support the development of future industry leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train and assess learners up to Level 3 in the workplace and at the college.
  • Support learner progress through assessment and curriculum delivery.
  • Ensure timely achievement of apprenticeship frameworks and standards.
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young persons in line with college policies.
  • Deliver training across multiple sites, requiring a full driving licence and use of a car for business purposes.
  • Collaborate with industry professionals to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and up to date.
  • Maintain high standards of equality, diversity, and inclusion in the learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Assessor qualification (TAQA/A1 or equivalent) or willingness to obtain.
  • Industry-relevant qualifications to a minimum of Level 3 (City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of awarding body standards and requirements.
  • Experience working in further education.
  • Up-to-date occupational experience.
  • Full current driving licence and use of a car for business purposes.

Preferred

  • Experience with apprenticeship frameworks and standards.
  • Understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusion in education.
  • Experience in delivering training in a variety of settings.
