Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality English and Media lessons to students from KS3 through to A level.
• Inspire and motivate students with a diverse range of talents and abilities.
• Develop innovative and engaging teaching strategies aligned with the British curriculum.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support the school’s mission of academic and personal growth.
• Contribute to the wider curriculum and extracurricular activities.
• Promote student wellbeing and pastoral care.
• Utilise data to meet the needs of all learners and provide appropriate challenge and support.
• Support safeguarding initiatives and ensure the highest standards of student protection.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A good honours degree.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE, preferably from the UK.
• Minimum of two years’ teaching experience.
• Ability to teach English and Media through to A level.
• Willingness to teach science subjects to KS3 and/or KS4.

Preferred

• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
• Strong track record in academic and pastoral leadership.
• Proven ability to deliver CPD and support professional development.
• Experience in a British curriculum school or international school setting.
