The Opportunity:

As an English Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality British curriculum to students aged 11-18. You will be part of a dynamic, evidence-informed teaching team that is dedicated to fostering Limitless Learning and outstanding academic achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students across KS3, KS4, and KS5
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans aligned with the National Curriculum of England
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and creativity
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching and learning
  • Support students in achieving their full potential through personalized learning and pastoral care
  • Participate in professional development and coaching initiatives to continuously improve teaching practice
  • Contribute to the school’s extra-curricular programme and enrichment activities
  • Monitor and assess student progress to ensure high academic standards and outcomes

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent in Secondary teaching or similar
  • At least 2 years of experience teaching the National Curriculum of England
  • Proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning
  • Experience of working within a high-performing teaching team
  • Exceptional subject knowledge in English
  • Experience of teaching British curriculum to GCSE and A Level

Preferred

  • Experience with evidence-informed teaching practices
  • Familiarity with cognitive science principles in education
  • Experience with instructional coaching or professional learning communities
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills
  • Experience with extra-curricular programme delivery
