The Opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher to join a strong department and make a meaningful impact on student learning. This role is ideal for ECTs/RQTs and offers a supportive environment for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality English lessons to KS3, KS4, and KS5 students.
• Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching strategies.
• Support students in achieving their full potential through personalized learning and pastoral care.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance departmental performance and student outcomes.
• Monitor and assess student progress effectively, providing constructive feedback.
• Participate in staff development and training programs.
• Contribute to the school’s continued improvement and expansion initiatives.
• Uphold the school’s values and maintain high standards of behavior and discipline.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience.
• Experience of teaching English at KS3, KS4, and KS5 levels.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to student welfare and inclusive education.

Preferred

• Experience working with students with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).
• Experience in a school undergoing expansion or development projects.
• Leadership or mentoring experience.
• Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
