The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding teaching and learning in English across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Plan and implement effective Schemes of Work that align with the school’s curriculum.
- Contribute actively to the English Department and support departmental initiatives.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students achieve their potential.
- Engage in professional development and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices.
- Support the school’s commitment to student enrichment through extra-curricular activities.
- Participate in school events and contribute to the wider school community.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in delivering English at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Strong subject knowledge in English and a passion for teaching.
- Experience in creating and delivering engaging lesson plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student progress and the school’s values.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching Key Stage 5.
- Familiarity with inclusive teaching practices.
- Experience in extra-curricular activities or student leadership programs.
- Knowledge of current educational trends and technologies.
