The Opportunity:

As a Primary Teacher - Strong Foundations, you will play a key role in developing a bespoke curriculum and leading evidence-based interventions that improve student outcomes. This is a transformational role focused on strengthening the four pillars of the Ofsted Inspection Framework: Reading, Writing, Oracy, and Early Numeracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver a bespoke curriculum tailored to student needs.
  • Lead evidence-informed interventions to support student progress.
  • Support colleagues in developing expertise aligned with whole school priorities.
  • Establish robust systems for assessing and tracking student impact.
  • Collaborate with existing literacy and inclusion teams to enhance whole-school approaches.
  • Ensure that all students receive systematic support to improve foundational skills.
  • Work with students who have varying levels of prior knowledge and face barriers related to SEND and disadvantage.
  • Promote a culture of success and academic rigor across the school.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in primary education.
  • Strong knowledge of reading, writing, oracy, and early numeracy.
  • Experience in curriculum design and delivery.
  • Ability to lead and support colleagues in professional development.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based teaching strategies and interventions.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and student success.

Preferred

  • Experience in working with students with special educational needs and disadvantages.
  • Background in literacy or inclusion support.
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment systems.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
