Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality English lessons that inspire and challenge students of all abilities.
  • Support students in achieving their full potential through personalized teaching and learning strategies.

  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support improvement.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and pastoral support.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in English education.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons.
  • Experience of working with students across a range of abilities and backgrounds.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience of teaching in a school with a high academic standard and Ofsted Outstanding rating.
  • Experience of working within a supportive and collaborative teaching environment.
  • Experience of leading or contributing to curriculum development.
  • Experience of working with diverse student populations and promoting inclusion.
