The Opportunity:
We are seeking an English Teacher to join a passionate team and make a meaningful impact on student learning. This role offers the chance to contribute to innovative teaching practices and support student success across KS3 and KS4.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the National Curriculum at KS3 and KS4.
- Develop engaging and inclusive lesson plans that inspire student learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to departmental initiatives.
- Participate in the ongoing development of teaching and learning strategies within the school.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through personalized guidance and encouragement.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Engage with parents and the wider community to promote student achievement and well-being.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in teaching English at KS3 and KS4.
- Strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Preferred
- Experience in developing and delivering innovative teaching strategies.
- Familiarity with using digital tools to enhance learning.
- Experience with supporting students with diverse learning needs.
