Key Responsibilities:

- Foster a love of English through creative and innovative teaching methods.

- Collaborate with colleagues to continually improve teaching and learning practices.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students achieve their full potential.
- Participate in the development and implementation of the school’s curriculum and extra-curricular activities.

- Engage with parents and the wider school community to support student learning and development.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified to teach and work in the UK.
- A degree in English or a related subject.
- Genuine passion for teaching English.
- Motivated and resilient with a commitment to achieving excellence.
Preferred
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
- Experience in a Church of England school or similar setting.
- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with the Mathematics Mastery programme or similar evidence-based teaching approaches.
- Experience in developing and delivering extra-curricular activities.
