The Opportunity:

As an Art Teacher, you will inspire creativity and help young artists flourish in a supportive and innovative school environment. You will play a key role in delivering a dynamic Art curriculum and contributing to a vibrant cultural programme that enriches student learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a rich, engaging Art curriculum that inspires creativity and develops confident, capable artists
  • Support students in discovering their own artistic voice and achieving excellence in their work
  • Collaborate with a passionate team of teachers within the school and across the wider academy family
  • Contribute to the development of creative and cultural programmes, including exhibitions, competitions, and enrichment activities
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Foster a classroom environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and excellence
  • Provide feedback to students to help them improve and achieve their full potential
  • Stay up to date with developments in the Art field and incorporate new ideas into teaching

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified or early career Art Teacher with high expectations for all students
  • Passionate about Art and excited to share that enthusiasm with young people
  • Committed to raising standards and achieving excellent outcomes for every student
  • Confident in building positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
  • Experience with curriculum development and enrichment activities
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Experience working in a school with a strong focus on academic excellence and personal development
