The Opportunity:
A Science Teacher is needed to inspire and educate students across KS3/4, delivering high-quality lessons that drive achievement and a passion for science. This role is ideal for Early Careers Teachers and offers a supportive and dynamic working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and rigorous Science lessons to students across KS3/4.
- Foster a love of learning and a passion for Science in students.
- Support students in achieving academic excellence and personal growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and extra-curricular activities.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly.
- Maintain a disciplined and focused classroom environment.
- Contribute to the school’s mission of providing every student with a great education and real choices in life.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified to teach and work in the UK.
- A degree in Science or a related subject.
- Genuine passion for teaching Science.
- Motivated and resilient with a commitment to achieving excellence.
Preferred
- Experience with teaching Science to KS3/4 students.
- Experience with curriculum development and innovation.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Experience with behaviour management and classroom discipline.
