The Opportunity:

A Science Teacher is needed to inspire and educate students across KS3/4, delivering high-quality lessons that drive achievement and a passion for science. This role is ideal for Early Careers Teachers and offers a supportive and dynamic working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and rigorous Science lessons to students across KS3/4.
  • Foster a love of learning and a passion for Science in students.
  • Support students in achieving academic excellence and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives and extra-curricular activities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly.
  • Maintain a disciplined and focused classroom environment.
  • Contribute to the school’s mission of providing every student with a great education and real choices in life.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified to teach and work in the UK.
  • A degree in Science or a related subject.
  • Genuine passion for teaching Science.
  • Motivated and resilient with a commitment to achieving excellence.

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching Science to KS3/4 students.
  • Experience with curriculum development and innovation.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience with behaviour management and classroom discipline.
