Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach English up to KS4, ensuring a broad and balanced curriculum is delivered
  • Monitor and support student progress, providing targeted feedback and guidance

  • Participate in curriculum development and departmental planning to enhance learning outcomes
  • Engage in pastoral responsibilities as a form tutor, supporting student well-being and personal development

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Ability to teach English up to KS4
  • Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for English
  • Excellent classroom management and teaching skills
  • Commitment to professional development and teamwork

Preferred

  • Ability to teach an additional subject
  • Previous experience as a middle leader
