Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Participate in school events, meetings, and extracurricular activities
- Support students in achieving their full potential through engaging and challenging lessons
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A degree in Mathematics or a related subject
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching mathematics
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
Preferred
- Experience with teaching Key Stages 3 and 4
- Experience with curriculum development or departmental leadership
- Experience with innovative teaching methods or PedTech integration
- Experience with vocational or technical pathways in education
