The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate English Language & Literature teacher for the MYP and DP programmes. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging lessons that promote critical thinking, creativity, and global perspectives.
• Foster a classroom environment that encourages student voice, collaboration, and differentiated instruction.
• Collaborate with a dynamic MYP/DP team to refine curriculum and share best practices.
• Support students in developing analytical and creative writing skills, as well as confident oral communication.
• Integrate technology and 21st-century skills into teaching and learning.
• Maintain accurate records of student learning and progress through Managebac.
• Provide timely, formative feedback to students to support their academic growth.
• Participate in pastoral care and contribute to the school’s extra-curricular programme.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in MYP and DP English Language & Literature.
• Demonstrated ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Strong knowledge of the IB curriculum and assessment practices.
• Commitment to student welfare and holistic development.
• Experience in planning and delivering inquiry-based learning.

Preferred

• Experience with technology integration in the classroom.
• Background in teaching a wide range of texts, including classics, contemporary works, and multimodal texts.
• Experience in co-developing resources and participating in professional learning communities.
• Familiarity with the IB Learner Profile and international-mindedness.
