Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, student-led lessons that align with the National Curriculum for England and incorporate global and local contexts.
  • Use technology effectively to enhance the learning experience and support home learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver a dynamic and innovative curriculum.
  • Contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school, supporting a wide range of activities and programs.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and leadership skills.
  • Work closely with parents and carers to support student learning and wellbeing.
  • Uphold the school’s values of inclusivity, high aspirations, and holistic development in all aspects of teaching and learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A BEd or PGCE qualification
  • Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2
  • Evidence of outstanding teaching practice or the potential to become outstanding
  • Confidence in planning and delivering engaging, student-led lessons
  • Ability to use classroom technology to enhance learning

Preferred

  • Experience with technology-enabled learning environments
  • Leadership experience or willingness to contribute to departmental leadership
  • Experience in extra-curricular program development or delivery
  • Experience in safeguarding and child protection
