Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality ESOL and IT courses to adult learners, ensuring engaging and inclusive teaching practices.
  • Support learners through individualized mentoring and guidance, helping them achieve their educational and career goals.
  • Develop and update course content in line with industry standards and learner needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to enhance the learner experience and improve outcomes.
  • Participate in staff development activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning.
  • Maintain accurate records and assessments of learner progress and achievement.
  • Engage with the local community through outreach and partnership initiatives.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and success.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in teaching ESOL and IT to adults.
  • Proven ability to motivate and support learners in achieving their goals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to inclusive and accessible teaching practices.
  • Experience in developing and delivering course content.

Preferred

  • Experience in adult education and community learning settings.
  • Familiarity with digital learning tools and technologies.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL/TEFL).
  • Background in IT education or related fields.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
