Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality ESOL and IT courses to adult learners, ensuring engaging and inclusive teaching practices.
- Support learners through individualized mentoring and guidance, helping them achieve their educational and career goals.
- Develop and update course content in line with industry standards and learner needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to enhance the learner experience and improve outcomes.
- Participate in staff development activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning.
- Maintain accurate records and assessments of learner progress and achievement.
- Engage with the local community through outreach and partnership initiatives.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and success.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in teaching ESOL and IT to adults.
- Proven ability to motivate and support learners in achieving their goals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to inclusive and accessible teaching practices.
- Experience in developing and delivering course content.
Preferred
- Experience in adult education and community learning settings.
- Familiarity with digital learning tools and technologies.
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL/TEFL).
- Background in IT education or related fields.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
