The Opportunity:

As an Exam Access Arrangements Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all students have equitable access to assessments, in line with JCQ regulations. This position is essential for supporting students with special educational needs and ensuring that their requirements are met with professionalism and care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and implement exam access arrangements in accordance with JCQ guidelines.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all student needs and arrangements.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents to ensure clarity and compliance.
• Work under pressure during peak exam periods while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ensure confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive student information.
• Support the welfare and progress of students with special educational needs.
• Uphold the school's values of inclusivity, diversity, and respect.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent ICT skills and fluency in relevant software.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
• Capacity to work methodically under pressure.
• Confidence in communicating with students and enforcing school policies.
• Commitment to supporting the welfare and achievement of SEND students.

Preferred

• Knowledge of SEND and JCQ regulations, particularly regarding exam access arrangements.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, iSAMS, and MacBook Apple technology.
