The Opportunity:

As the Head of Arabic B, you will lead a high-performing team and drive a strategic vision for Arabic B education. This role is ideal for a visionary leader who is passionate about curriculum development, staff development, and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a team of Arabic B teachers to deliver outstanding teaching and learning.
  • Develop and implement a robust Arabic B curriculum aligned with international standards.
  • Oversee assessment strategies and ensure consistent quality in student outcomes.
  • Manage and support Arabic GCSE programs with a focus on student success.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance the school’s academic and extracurricular offerings.
  • Contribute to the school’s vision through involvement in MOE subjects events and other initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of continuous professional development among staff.
  • Ensure high standards of teaching and learning across all aspects of the Arabic B department.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Arabic B teacher with a relevant degree in Arabic language or related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience leading Arabic B in international schools.
  • Proven track record in curriculum development, assessment writing, and staff development.
  • Experience in teaching and managing Arabic GCSE.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead positive change in Arabic B education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with all stakeholders.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and equal opportunities.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading departmental initiatives and driving academic improvement.
  • Familiarity with international educational frameworks and standards.
  • Strong leadership experience in a public-facing setting.
  • Ability to manage change and work effectively under pressure.
