The Opportunity:

As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and smooth operation of examinations within the school. This is a vital position that supports the academic success of students and contributes directly to the school’s mission of delivering high-quality education. The role involves working during the main external examination period and throughout the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the smooth and fair administration of internal and external examinations.
  • Monitor and enforce examination rules and regulations with professionalism and consistency.
  • Maintain a calm, focused, and respectful environment for students during exams.
  • Report any incidents or irregularities immediately to the appropriate staff.
  • Assist with the preparation and organisation of examination materials and venues.
  • Support the invigilation team in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with students, teachers, and other staff members.
  • Adhere to all safeguarding and security protocols during examination periods.

Required

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures.

  • Punctuality and reliability.

  • Willingness to work flexible daytime hours during examination periods.

Preferred

  • Previous experience working in a school or educational setting.
  • Experience in an invigilation or administrative role.
  • Knowledge of examination regulations and procedures.
  • Experience with safeguarding and child protection policies.
