As a Business Support Officer - SEND and Student Welfare, you will play a key role in supporting pupils, teachers, and stakeholders to ensure a positive and effective learning environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional business support services to pupils, teachers, and wider stakeholders.
- Deliver outstanding customer service across all aspects of the school and Star community.
- Use MS Office software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and databases, to support administrative functions.
- Prioritise tasks efficiently and accurately, meeting deadlines under pressure.
- Develop strong relationships with colleagues and external partners to enhance service delivery.
- Support the implementation of SEND and student welfare initiatives.
- Assist in the management of school operations and organisational processes.
- Contribute to the maintenance of accurate records and data systems.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 9-4/A*-C.
- Experience of working in an administrative setting.
- Proficiency in using MS Office software such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, work efficiently, and meet deadlines under pressure.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or education setting.
- Knowledge of SEND and student welfare support practices.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Experience with database management systems.
