The Opportunity:

We are seeking dedicated Exam Invigilators to support the smooth and secure administration of public and internal examinations. This role is vital in maintaining the integrity of the exam process, ensuring all procedures are followed in line with JCQ regulations. Ideal for someone who values responsibility and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the secure handling and administration of all exam papers in accordance with JCQ guidelines.
  • Monitor and supervise students during exams to maintain a fair and controlled environment.
  • Report any incidents or irregularities immediately to the relevant authority.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of examination materials prior to sessions.
  • Maintain accurate records of all examination-related activities.
  • Adhere to all health and safety protocols during exams.
  • Support the smooth running of exams by following instructions from senior staff.
  • Ensure all exam procedures are completed efficiently and on time.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of reliability.
  • Punctuality and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and following strict procedures.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in an exam invigilation role or similar position.
  • Familiarity with JCQ regulations and examination procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in a school or educational setting.
