The Opportunity:

As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of examinations during key periods throughout the year. Your attention to detail and commitment to student success will contribute directly to the school’s mission of helping students reach their highest potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the smooth and fair administration of examinations in accordance with school and examination board guidelines.
• Monitor students during exams to maintain a secure and focused environment.
• Assist with the preparation and distribution of examination materials before, during, and after exams.
• Report any incidents or concerns during the exam period to the appropriate staff.
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols and follow school policies consistently.
• Work flexibly across multiple examination periods, including November, January, April, May, and June.
• Collaborate with other invigilators and support staff to ensure a consistent and professional approach.
• Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation following each examination session.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• Commitment to student welfare and academic integrity.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and late afternoons.

Preferred

• Previous experience in an educational or administrative role.
• Experience with exam invigilation or similar responsibilities.
• Familiarity with safeguarding and child protection policies.
• Knowledge of examination procedures and regulations.
