The Opportunity:

As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and fair administration of exams. This is a casual position, offering variable hours and the opportunity to work in a supportive and values-driven school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the smooth and fair conduct of examinations in accordance with school and external guidelines.
  • Monitor students to prevent any form of malpractice or misconduct during exams.
  • Maintain a calm and professional demeanor under pressure.
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and other staff members.
  • Complete all necessary reporting and documentation after each examination session.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols within the examination environment.
  • Support the school’s commitment to maintaining a fair and ethical examination process.
  • Assist in the setup and management of examination rooms as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and observational skills.
  • Commitment to upholding the integrity of the examination process.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work variable hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on examination schedules.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in an educational or examination setting.
  • Experience with invigilation or similar roles.
  • Training or experience in safeguarding and child protection.
  • Familiarity with examination procedures and protocols.
