Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of the curriculum and assist in planning and implementing engaging learning activities.
- Help maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children.
- Assist in the supervision and care of children during meals, play, and other activities.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to support the development and well-being of children.
- Promote positive behavior and encourage social and emotional development.
- Keep accurate records of children’s progress and communicate regularly with parents and carers.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to ensure continuous professional development.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to child safety and well-being.
- Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative when needed.
- Patience, creativity, and a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
Preferred
- Previous experience in a school or educational setting.
- Knowledge of early years curricula and child development.
- Experience with safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- First aid and emergency care training.
