The Opportunity:

As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and fair administration of examinations. You will support students and staff while upholding strict examination board regulations. This is a key role in maintaining academic integrity and contributing to a positive school culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the smooth and secure running of all examinations in line with examination board regulations.
• Supervise and support students during exams in a calm and professional manner.
• Monitor and report any irregularities or concerns during examination sessions.
• Collaborate with the exams team to maintain accurate records and follow-up procedures.
• Assist in the preparation and organisation of examination materials and venues.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for all students and staff.
• Adhere to all school and Trust policies, including safeguarding and equality standards.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance exam invigilation practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Ability to work as part of a team and support students and staff effectively.
• Understanding of and ability to implement examination board regulations.
• Experience working with young people in an educational setting.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Preferred

• Previous experience in an exam invigilation role or similar educational support position.
• Experience with online or digital examination systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work across different exam periods and locations.
