Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality drama lessons that engage and inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Develop and monitor student progress through effective assessment and feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and improve teaching and learning.
  • Support the transition of students through Key Stage 4 and beyond.
  • Contribute to the wider school community by promoting drama and the arts.
  • Stay up to date with developments in drama education and curriculum design.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Work closely with the drama department to enhance the overall teaching experience.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in drama or related subjects.
  • Strong knowledge of drama curriculum and pedagogy.
  • Commitment to student achievement and personal development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with Key Stage 3 and 4 curriculum planning.
