The Opportunity:

As a Business Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality curriculum to students at A Level and L2/L3 BTEC. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on student success and contribute to a school’s journey toward ‘Outstanding’ status.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that prepare students for higher education, training, and employment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and improve the Business department and sixth form.
  • Support students in developing the knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed for their next steps.
  • Use industry expertise to enhance the curriculum and provide a relevant learning experience.
  • Take part in Continuing Professional Development to grow your skills and career.
  • Achieve excellent results and contribute to the school’s academic success.
  • Participate in the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
  • Engage with students and colleagues across the trust through collaborative projects and events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in teaching A Level and BTEC Business.
  • Strong academic or occupational background in Business.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality education and achieving excellent student outcomes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to departmental success.
  • Proven track record of achieving good or outstanding results (or willingness to develop as an early career teacher).

Preferred

  • Experience in Continuing Professional Development and a desire for career growth.
  • Background in teaching Business or related subjects.
  • Experience with online learning technologies and innovative teaching methods.
  • Knowledge of inclusive education and supporting diverse learners.
