The Opportunity:

As an Examinations Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating the administration of internal and external exams, ensuring compliance with awarding body rules and maintaining the integrity of all examinations. This is a vital position that supports the academic success of students and the smooth functioning of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the administration of internal and external exams in accordance with awarding body guidelines.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all examination processes and procedures.
  • Work closely with invigilating and administrative teams to manage exam schedules and logistics.
  • Maintain detailed records and reports related to examination activities.
  • Adhere to strict deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Support the school in preparing for and administering exams during term time and examination result weeks.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff and students regarding examination procedures.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of examination processes and make recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in exam administration or a related field.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in managing deadlines and prioritising tasks effectively.
  • Understanding of exam regulations and procedures.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Knowledge of awarding body rules and procedures.
  • Experience with exam invigilation or administration.
  • Flexibility to work some hours remotely when appropriate.
  • Experience in a Catholic or faith-based educational environment.
