The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality science education that engages and motivates students
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support professional development
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement
- Participate in the development of new science facilities and teaching spaces
- Support students in developing critical thinking and scientific inquiry skills
- Engage in wider school activities and contribute to the school’s vision and values
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant science degree and QTS
- Proven experience in teaching science at secondary level
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in a similar school setting
Preferred
- Experience with curriculum development and innovative teaching methods
- Familiarity with modern science teaching resources and technology
- Experience with pastoral care and student support
- Leadership or mentoring experience within a school setting
