The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team and help students reach their full potential. This role plays a vital part in supporting students’ academic and personal development, ensuring they receive the assistance they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with learning needs through tailored assistance and guidance
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to create and implement individual learning plans
- Monitor and track student progress, providing regular updates to the teaching team
- Assist in the planning and delivery of classroom activities and interventions
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a cohesive support strategy
- Contribute to the development of inclusive and accessible learning environments
- Participate in staff training and professional development opportunities
- Maintain accurate records and reports in line with school policies
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A relevant qualification in education or a related field
- Experience working in a school setting, preferably in a support role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection
Preferred
- Experience working with students with special educational needs
- Knowledge of inclusive teaching strategies and support techniques
- Experience in using educational software and tools
