The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team and help students reach their full potential. This role plays a vital part in supporting students’ academic and personal development, ensuring they receive the assistance they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with learning needs through tailored assistance and guidance
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to create and implement individual learning plans
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing regular updates to the teaching team
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of classroom activities and interventions
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a cohesive support strategy
  • Contribute to the development of inclusive and accessible learning environments
  • Participate in staff training and professional development opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in line with school policies

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A relevant qualification in education or a related field
  • Experience working in a school setting, preferably in a support role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection

Preferred

  • Experience working with students with special educational needs
  • Knowledge of inclusive teaching strategies and support techniques
  • Experience in using educational software and tools
