The Opportunity:

As the Executive Assistant to the CFOO, you will provide essential administrative and executive support to the Chief Finance and Operations Officer. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient management of the CFOO’s office and supporting the Governing Council and its sub-committees. The position requires discretion, professionalism, and a proactive approach to managing complex and confidential tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the CFOO, ensuring the efficient running of their office.
  • Coordinate and manage the schedule, meetings, and correspondence of the CFOO.
  • Support the Governing Council and its sub-committees with administrative tasks and documentation.
  • Handle confidential and complex information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Manage office supplies, travel arrangements, and other logistical needs.
  • Act as a liaison between the CFOO and other departments or external stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal and external protocols.
  • Demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and strong interpersonal skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar senior administrative role.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Experience in a senior administrative role within a large organisation or educational institution.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with the ability to build positive relationships.

Preferred

  • Experience working with senior executives or in a high-profile role.
  • Knowledge of financial or operations management processes.
  • Familiarity with governance structures and committee work.
  • Experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Proficiency in office management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
