The Opportunity:

We are seeking an Executive Assistant to the Head to join a dynamic and forward-thinking school. This role is central to supporting the Head in managing the school’s operations and ensuring the smooth running of a vibrant, growing institution. The successful candidate will play a key part in shaping the school’s future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head in managing the school’s strategic priorities and day-to-day operations.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and communications with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with staff, parents, and pupils.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other administrative tasks.
  • Manage the Head’s schedule, including travel and external engagements.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and initiatives.
  • Provide leadership and support to the wider administrative team.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the school during key events and transitions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a senior administrative or executive support role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in a school or educational setting, ideally at a senior level.
  • Proficiency in using office software and digital tools.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting a Head or senior leadership team.
  • Knowledge of school operations, including governance and policy development.
  • Understanding of educational values and the importance of pastoral care.
  • Experience in a high-performing, values-driven institution.
