The Opportunity:
We are seeking an EYFS Class Teacher to join a dynamic team and inspire young learners through play, exploration, and meaningful experiences. This role is ideal for both early career teachers and experienced professionals looking to make an impact in early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports the social, emotional, and academic development of all children.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing regular feedback to parents and colleagues.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure consistency in teaching approaches and support children’s learning across the school.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers to support children’s development and well-being.
- Participate in staff training and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
- Ensure the classroom is a safe, stimulating, and welcoming space for all children.
- Support the implementation of school policies and initiatives that promote inclusion and excellence in education.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recent Early Years Foundation Stage teacher qualification.
- Experience in planning and delivering early years education.
- Strong ability to support children's learning and development across all ability ranges.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience working with children with complex communication needs.
- Experience with teaching English as a Second Language (ESOL).
- Experience in a school setting within a multi-academy trust.
