The Opportunity:

As a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will support teaching staff in delivering high-quality learning experiences and managing classroom environments. This is a key role in helping students reach their full potential within a supportive and high-achieving school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teaching staff in delivering lessons and managing classroom activities.
  • Assist with the implementation of learning and care programmes to support student access to learning.
  • Provide individualised support to students, including those with special educational needs.
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Work closely with teachers to monitor and support student progress.
  • Contribute to the smooth running of school activities and events.
  • Assist with administrative and organisational tasks as required.
  • Promote student well-being and encourage positive behaviour.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant experience in a teaching or support role.
  • A commitment to working with students of all abilities, including those with special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work as part of a team and support the school’s values and mission.
  • A strong understanding of child development and learning support.

Preferred

  • Experience working in a school or educational setting.
  • A relevant qualification, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Experience in delivering support programmes or working with disadvantaged students.
  • Familiarity with inclusive education practices and SEND support strategies.
