The Opportunity:

We are seeking an EYFS Inclusion Teacher to join a forward-thinking school committed to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment. This role is essential in helping young learners thrive and reach their full potential through tailored, positive educational practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement inclusive teaching strategies tailored to the needs of EYFS students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support the school’s ethos of Positive Education and character development.
  • Design and deliver engaging, interactive lessons that promote student participation and growth.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to parents and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of extracurricular activities and wider school initiatives.
  • Utilize technology effectively to enhance learning and support student engagement.
  • Support the school’s mission by fostering a positive, inclusive classroom culture.
  • Work closely with special needs coordinators and other staff to ensure a cohesive approach to inclusion.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education with a SENCO qualification or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in early years education, preferably in an inclusion setting.
  • Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices and child development.
  • Experience with ASDAN programs and other inclusive educational frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with Positive Education (PosEd) and related methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using educational technology and apps to support learning.
  • Background in early years curriculum design and implementation.
  • Experience in a school environment that offers a wide range of academic and extracurricular programs.
