The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver a high-quality EYFS/KS1 curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a consistent and holistic approach to teaching and learning.
- Support the development of students’ social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Engage with parents and the wider school community to promote student progress and well-being.
- Participate in the planning and delivery of extra-curricular activities.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly to ensure individual needs are met.
- Maintain accurate records and follow school procedures and policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in EYFS/KS1 education.
- Strong knowledge of early years and Key Stage 1 curriculum requirements.
- Experience of working in a co-educational setting.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience of teaching in an independent or boarding school.
- Familiarity with the extra-curricular ethos of the school, including sport and outdoor activities.
- Experience with teaching English as a Second Language (ESL).
- A track record of delivering outstanding results and student engagement.
