The Opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated EYFS Teacher to join a dynamic and high-achieving school. The role involves managing a merged Nursery and Reception class, delivering a carefully crafted EYFS curriculum, and working closely with experienced staff. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a merged Nursery and Reception class, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning experiences
  • Deliver and implement a bespoke EYFS curriculum with support from the EYFS lead
  • Work collaboratively with other EYFS staff and external consultants to enhance teaching practices
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Support the development of children’s social, emotional, and academic skills
  • Take responsibility for planning, assessment, and record-keeping in line with statutory requirements
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to school improvement initiatives
  • Run a lunchtime club and contribute to the enrichment of the school community

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in the EYFS
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Demonstrable track record of success in a high-performing school
  • Ability to manage a merged Nursery and Reception class
  • Commitment to driving high standards of attainment and inclusion
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred

  • Experience with early years leadership or management
  • Familiarity with National Professional Qualifications (NPQs)
  • Experience working with children from diverse backgrounds
  • Knowledge of inclusive education practices
  • Experience with external consultancy or professional development programs
