Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Economics lessons that engage and challenge students.
  • Support students in achieving excellent A Level outcomes through tailored teaching and assessment.
  • Collaborate with departmental colleagues and partner schools to enhance curriculum delivery and professional development.
  • Participate in the Chrysalis East programme, supporting local schools and raising attainment across Tottenham.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through co-curricular and pastoral activities.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that reflect the school's commitment to academic rigour.
  • Provide pastoral support and guidance to students to foster a positive learning environment.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and stay up to date with industry trends and economic developments.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong subject knowledge in Economics.
  • Experience teaching Economics at A Level or equivalent.
  • Commitment to academic excellence and student achievement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and partner schools.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Preferred

  • Experience working with ECTs or in a supportive teaching environment.
  • Familiarity with the Chrysalis East programme or similar initiatives.
  • Background in teaching English as a second language or working with diverse student groups.
  • Passion for inspiring students and fostering a love of Economics.
