About the School:
Located on Richmond Hill in south west London, the school is an independent day preparatory school for boys aged three to thirteen with a co-educational Nursery. It is a charitable trust that provides a broad and balanced academic and co-curricular education.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced EYFS Teacher to join our Nursery Department from September 2026. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with other Nursery Teachers to deliver high-quality learning experiences to pre-prep children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and stimulating learning experiences tailored to the needs of young children.
- Work collaboratively with other Nursery Teachers to maintain consistent and high-quality educational standards.
- Plan and implement a structured curriculum that promotes the holistic development of children.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.
- Monitor and assess children’s progress to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones.
- Maintain effective communication with parents and carers to support children’s learning and well-being.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children within the Nursery Department.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant EYFS experience.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
Preferred
- Experience working in an independent or preparatory school setting.
- Familiarity with British and community values.
- Experience with co-curricular activities and extracurricular clubs.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
