The Opportunity:

As a Foundation Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of the school’s front-of-house and administrative functions. This is a term-time only position, ideal for someone looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and supportive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a professional and welcoming response to all incoming calls, emails, and in-person inquiries from parents, staff, and the wider community.
  • Administer morning and afternoon registers accurately and efficiently.
  • Support the Senior School office with a wide range of administrative tasks.
  • Maintain up-to-date student records within the Management Information System (iSAMS).
  • Assist with first aid duties in the medical room (training provided).
  • Provide excellent customer service to visitors when covering the reception desk.
  • Support the planning and delivery of school events such as Open Days, entrance testing, and parent meetings.
  • Provide administrative cover at other school office sites across the Stephen Perse sites as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in using administrative software and systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to promoting the school’s values and mission.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Previous administrative or reception experience.
  • Basic knowledge of Management Information Systems (iSAMS).
  • First Aid training or willingness to obtain it.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple sites as needed.
