Admissions Officer needed at a school in Cambridge. Support admissions processes for Nursery, EYFS, and Junior School.

The Opportunity:

As an Admissions Officer, you will play a key role in managing the admissions process for Nursery, EYFS, and Junior School in Cambridge. You will provide a high-quality service to parents and stakeholders, ensuring a smooth and efficient admissions experience for prospective students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage admissions processes for Nursery, EYFS, and Junior School across multiple locations.
  • Respond to admissions inquiries via email, telephone, letter, and in person.
  • Coordinate and arrange school tours for prospective families.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospective students in the admissions CRM and database.
  • Support the organisation and execution of Open Days and entrance tests.
  • Assist with scholarship and bursary applications and documentation.
  • Liaise regularly with the Head of Early Years and Head of Junior School.
  • Promote the school’s values and policies, including safeguarding and equal opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and databases.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and equal opportunities policies.

Preferred

  • Experience in education or admissions roles.
  • Knowledge of admissions processes in independent schools.
  • Familiarity with iSAMS or similar systems.
  • Ability to work flexibly and manage multiple priorities.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of £30,661 - £33,749 per annum.
  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Full support and training to ensure success in the role.
