The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to the needs of Foundation Stage students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and lifelong learning.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the school’s vision and mission.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that promote student progress and achievement.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and carers.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives, including extra-curricular activities and professional development opportunities.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times.
  • Support the school’s commitment to inclusion and diversity through all aspects of teaching and learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in the Foundation Stage.
  • Strong knowledge of early years curriculum and child development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to inclusion and safeguarding.
  • Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting.
  • Experience with teaching English as an additional language.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technology in the classroom.
  • Experience in leading or supporting professional development initiatives.
