Key Responsibilities:

Teach Geography to students from Year 7 to Year 11, including GCSE classes.
Coordinate and lead Geography within a small, active department.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that encourage high standards and pupil-centred learning.
Organize and lead field trips and excursions to support curriculum delivery.
Motivate and inspire students, parents, and colleagues.
Contribute actively to the life and development of the school.
Support students in their academic and personal growth through a positive and encouraging approach.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Geography.
Experience teaching Geography at Key Stage 3 and 4 (Years 7–11).
Ability to manage and inspire students in small class settings.
Commitment to delivering high-quality, pupil-centred teaching.

Preferred

Experience in leading Geography departments or coordinating curriculum areas.
Strong organisational and leadership skills.
Experience in planning and delivering field trips or outdoor learning activities.
Demonstrable track record in improving student outcomes and engagement.
