Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Geography lessons to students across key stages.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching and learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Geography.
  • Experience of teaching Geography at secondary level.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and take responsibility for student progress.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience of working in a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting.
  • Familiarity with the National Curriculum and current Geography teaching methodologies.
  • Experience of leading or contributing to curriculum development.
  • Experience of using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
