Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Geography lessons in line with the National Curriculum at KS3 and KS4.

• Support student progress through effective assessment, planning, and differentiated instruction.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to departmental development.
• Participate in the planning and delivery of extracurricular Geography activities and events.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement.
• Engage with parents and the wider community to support student learning and development.
• Stay up to date with developments in Geography education and curriculum innovation.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Geography.
• Experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to inclusive and student-centered teaching.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

• Experience with curriculum innovation and teaching in a multi-academy trust.
• Experience with pastoral care and student support.
• Familiarity with digital tools and resources for Geography teaching.
