The Opportunity:

As Vice Principal - Behaviour and Inclusion, you will lead the development and maintenance of a culture of excellence in behaviour standards and inclusion. You will ensure that all students are engaged, challenged, and supported to reach their full potential, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop strategies to improve behaviour standards and inclusion across the school.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of current practices in behaviour and inclusion.
  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure alignment with the school’s vision and priorities.
  • Support staff in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Foster a culture of high expectations, respect, and student engagement.
  • Implement and maintain policies that promote a safe and supportive school community.
  • Drive continuous improvement in line with local and national expectations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to colleagues in the area of behaviour and inclusion.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven leadership experience in a school setting, ideally in a senior role.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and improve behaviour standards and inclusion practices.
  • Strong track record in teaching and delivering outstanding results.
  • Commitment to the school’s key priorities and values.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in a similar leadership role within a secondary school.
  • Knowledge of Education with Character and pastoral support strategies.
  • Experience with curriculum development and student engagement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with national and local education standards and expectations.
