The Opportunity:
As a German Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality language education to students across key stages. You will join a successful department that consistently achieves outstanding results, with a strong focus on student progress and achievement in German at both GCSE and A Level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective German lessons to students from Key Stage 3 through to A Level.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support and feedback to ensure continued improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Modern Languages department to develop and deliver a cohesive curriculum.
- Participate in departmental meetings, planning, and professional development activities.
- Support students in preparing for GCSE and A Level examinations, with a track record of strong results.
- Engage with parents and the wider school community to promote the value of language learning.
- Contribute to the overall success of the school through commitment, innovation, and a positive attitude.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in German or a related subject.
- Experience teaching German at Key Stage 3 and A Level.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Preferred
- Experience with teaching a second language.
- Experience working in a successful and high-achieving school environment.
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
