The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate Teacher of RE to join a dynamic and collaborative Humanities team. This role offers the chance to inspire students at KS3, KS4, and Key Stage 5, while contributing to a school culture that values innovation, wellbeing, and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring RE lessons across all key stages.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share teaching resources.
  • Use formative and summative data to improve student learning outcomes.
  • Support the implementation of Disruption Free Learning initiatives.
  • Promote a growth mindset within the school community.
  • Participate in professional development and staff training opportunities.
  • Contribute to the pastoral care and wellbeing of students.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and academic achievement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in RE.
  • Ability to teach at KS3, KS4, and ideally Key Stage 5.
  • Commitment to collaborative working and professional development.
  • Strong understanding of growth mindset and its application in teaching.

Preferred

  • Experience with innovative teaching strategies.
  • Background in pastoral support or student wellbeing.
  • Familiarity with Disruption Free Learning approaches.
  • Experience with the ECT programme or teacher induction.
